The Cloud & Enterprise Revenue Team is seeking an experienced Group Finance Manager to lead the Central and Partnership team, with strong skills in People Management, influencing for scalable impact, business partnership, process excellence and leading through change.

This is a unique and exciting role and we are looking for a high-caliber candidate who thrives in fast paced, dynamic environments. The business relies heavily on a strong finance partnership to enable success and you will have the ability to exercise significant influence in this pivotal role. The role will provide you with an opportunity to lead a high performing team with highly motivated individuals who are known to land scalable impact. This role will lead the FP&A team for Cloud and Enterprise through forecast, ROB, investment decisions/ROI and Planning deliverables. You will get a great opportunity to influence key stakeholders through the critical processes in the company for this strategic business including target setting for C E business (On prem and cloud). The role provides a unique end to end perspective of the C E business during this critical time of change. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Imbibe the leadership principles of Microsoft of creating Clarity, generating energy and delivering success

Invest in development and career management for the team members

Recognize and understand underlying business and market drivers and the competitive landscape across C E products.

Drive change through key ROB activities such as Close, forecast and planning

Influence targets by working with various leaders across business and finance to set the direction for the company. Play a pivotal role in landing targets with the field counterparts.

Drive influencing strategy for C E businesses landing key strategies such as compensation strategy and investment strategy.

Build strong relationships with Marketing business partners and be the single point of contact for them

One of the single most important characteristics of an ideal candidate is passion for technology and willingness to dive into the business and build recommendations to help guide the business in the right direction. The person should be able to build and nurture relationships across finance and business partners to drive insights and impact.

Qualifications

Requirements/Qualifications include but are not limited to:

Excellent management skills and history of driving impact through teams.

Qualifications should include a minimum of 10 years of accounting/ FP&A experience, a history of collaborating with and/or influencing cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Experience managing an accounting close cycle and providing guidance on accounting treatment is required.

BS/BA degree in Finance, Accounting or MBA. CPA preferred.

Advanced understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Act, US GAAP and International accounting.

Excellent cross group collaboration skills including the ability to comfortably communicate with executive management at Microsoft

Strong analytical and strategic thinking

Ability to influence and impact without authority, and solve difficult problems, combined with the ability to prioritize and function well in a dynamic and operational environment.

Show propensity for learning, and demonstrate ability to identify, analyze, interpret, and deliver sound solutions.

Willingness and desire to understand technical and online services matters critical to our Online Operations
