Position Overview:

The Coca-Cola Company is building an in-house creative company, KO:OP. KO:OP is a new, high profile, and transformational effort that will generate both content and revenue. Revenue will be reinvested in KO:OP's development, marketing innovation projects, and one day will offset The Coca-Cola Company's marketing spend. The Company is prepared for, and expects, KO:OP to exponentially grow over the next two to three years and needs a dynamic leader to lead this growth and bring this vision to life.

This individual will lead The Coca-Cola Company's in-house creative team, KO:OP, and will accelerate the Company's ability to deliver - and monetize - in-house creative solutions across a broad range of content including but not limited to print, OOH, film, social/digital, POS. An entrepreneur at heart, the right candidate will be comfortable building a very impactful and profitable creative services organization inside The Coca-Cola Company; requiring effective management of a broad range of projects and the ability to develop new business opportunities with key internal clients.

This person will build and manage a diverse team, including project managers, art directors and designers. As there are many key stakeholders, this job requires a high degree of collaboration across divisions (design, legal, finance, customer, commercial, etc) as well as the ability to build a strong sense of credibility and trust with internal customers.

Finally, this person will connect the team to the external creative community to inspire and encourage a creative, collaborative culture that will explore new ways of working and developing innovative content.

Function Specific Activities:


Lead The Coca-Cola Company's in-house creative team including but not limited to development and delivery of agency objectives, strategies, structure, process, content creation, and team management.

Grow The Coca-Cola Company's in-house creative capability. Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities. Growth will be measured by an increase in the number of clients, projects, and/or in the scope of the work.

Monetize in-house creative solutions/offerings.

Connect internal/external creative communities to inspire industry best work.

Oversee briefings, creative development, production, and coordination of all creative needs across identified brands/assets/projects. Ensuring that content is on brief will require a deep understanding across the portfolio to ensure communication is on brand.

Partner with, and employ, key discipline leaders (operations, legal, finance, public relations, integrated marketing, etc.) to define process and execute in-house model/content.

Key contributor to the business model development.

Function Specific Activities

Develop in-house creative agency expertise including peer company benchmarking, sharing ideas, and best practices in order to identify key issues and opportunities for The Coca-Cola Company to grow and advance the capability.

Ability to lead, inspire, teach, and manage creative talent.

Lead/implement creative process to ensure that brand/legal/creative/quality standards are consistently met to enhance the brand image, protect The Company and comply with contractual obligations to third parties (e.g., licensors, rights-holders).

Partner with Finance to track investment, revenue, profitability, productivity, etc.


At least 15 years of marketing/advertising experience in a comparable in-house agency or advertising agency or combination.

Advanced skills in creative management and project leadership

Superior verbal and written communication skills.

Experience driving business development for an in-house agency capability or similar experience from an advertising agency.

Proven track record of communication and influencing skills at the Executive Management level.

Ability to effectively build trust and influence key stakeholders and collaborate with internal and external business partners.
