As we enter our fifth decade, we are looking for talented, innovative and driven people who believe they can help themselves, and our clients, create a better future.Our Opportunity:Schwab Global Services is a specialized service group that serves the trading, customer service, and operational needs of both domestic and international clients who deal with securities which trade on exchanges outside the US as well foreign currencies.\u00a0 These would include clients from the Branches, Active Trader Overlay, Client Services and Advisor Services.\u00a0 SGS has daily interactions from virtually every customer contact area of Schwab and works to promote an outstanding client experience as it relates to all facets of their international equity investments.\u00a0 SGS also has direct-line telephone contact with external market makers as well as the various major market centers in foreign securities. SGS regularly serves clients living outside the US that have international accounts with us to provide investment, trading and operational inquiries. Other services provided include document translation services for internal partners and foreign language support for clients.\u00a0What you\u2019ll do:This role is responsible for providing service to all clients trading securities on exchanges outside of the U.S.\u00a0 The candidates selected for this position will provide outstanding customer service in a wide range of areas including but not limited to trading and operations follow-up on foreign securities.\u00a0 Additionally, this role is the primary service team for clients living outside the US for their investment and service needs. This position provides the opportunity to utilize a combination of previous customer support experience, trading skills, and knowledge of financial and economic foreign markets in a high call volume environment.\u00a0 In this role, candidates would be expected to manage business areas including productivity and client satisfaction.\u00a0\u00a0What you have:
This role is hiring for various times that include day, afternoon and overnight shifts.
Role may be filled at grade level 55 or 56, depending on experience.
Series 7 & 63 required, Series 9/10 preferred.
Foreign\u00a0language fluency preferred with a need focusing on Spanish, Mandarin,\u00a0Cantonese and Vietnamese.
At\u00a0least one year of trading experience or prior\u00a0foreign trading experience required.
A\u00a0strong desire to learn more about foreign markets and securities.
A\u00a0solid understanding of the foreign equity\u00a0markets and economics is\u00a0essential.
Knowledge of rules around international clients\u2019 investing in the US, the various jurisdictional, regulatory and product restrictions preferred
Excellent\u00a0interpersonal and writing skills and a\u00a0customer service focus are essential.
Must be self-motivated and have the ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
