We currently have an exciting opportunity in the San Francisco area as a Global Medical Affairs Manager for Oncology.\t\t\t\t\t\tJob Description (summary)\t\t\tResponsible for providing tactical and strategic support directly to the Medical Affairs Leaders in all aspects of execution of integrated Medical Affairs plans. Person in role will be expected to input into significant, important decisions and projects, typically on a multi-country, regional or local level.\t\t\t\t\t\tTypical Accountabilities\t\t\t
\t\t\t\tActs as a primary support to the Global Medical Affairs Leader and their respective project team(s) to execute on iMAP strategy components, including but not limited to:\t\t\t\t
\t\t\t\t\tOperational plan activities
\t\t\t\t\tMedical education for physicians
\t\t\t\t\tKey opinion leader / external expert engagement
\t\t\t\t\tMedical communications and publications
\t\t\t\t\tMedical Evidence planning and data generation
\t\t\t\t\tSpecialized training deployed in concert with the Medical Academy
\t\t\t\tContributes to establishing and implementing standards and processes to streamline GMA-Oncology operations
\t\t\t\tEnsures work and work of others is in compliance with internal and external standards and regulations
\t\t\t\tResponsible for specialized research or delivery of internal reports for use in team meetings
\t\t\t\tReinforces lines of communication between the MAL / SMAL and other key stakeholders (i.e. country affiliates, GPT members, GMAT members, etc.)
\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tEducation, Qualifications, Skills & Experience\t\t\t
\t\t\t\t\tBachelor’s Degree in a science field
\t\t\t\t\tThorough knowledge or experience within the pharmaceutical industry and Medical Affairs function
\t\t\t\t\tDirect work experience or training in Oncology
\t\t\t\t\tAdvanced scientific degree
\t\t\t\t\tUnderstanding of multiple aspects of Medical Affairs and interaction within a matrixed work environment
\t\t\t\t\tProject management experience
\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tKey Relationships to Reach Solutions\t\t\t
\t\t\t\t\tGlobal Medical Affairs function
\t\t\t\t\tUS Medical Affairs functions
\t\t\t\t\tMarket access and compliance teams
\t\t\t\t\tExternal Service Providers
