You will develop strong relationships across the organization, working collaboratively with clients, peers and key leaders to drive results for your team, the department and clients.

As the Global Head of Talent Insights and Market Strategy, you will lead a global organization that’s tasked with forecasting where we’ll find Google’s future workforce. You will partner seamlessly with senior leaders across Google’s global business operations, translating their talent needs into scalable actions that will impact the way Google finds and engages talent. You’re a futurist grounded by data, and you’ll build strong partnerships across teams and senior stakeholders to advance Google’s global hiring needs.

Responsibilities

Lead a global research team and global analytics team that both use structured and unstructured quantitative and qualitative data to drive actionable staffing insights.

Lead a team of talent sourcers that are responsible for finding and building relationships in the marketplace from target sources (specific companies and talent events).

Define and maintain the team’s strategy and direction, coach and develop team members and remove roadblocks to their success.

Develop effective long-range talent acquisition strategies, and devise effective ways to action on and communicate these strategies to senior management and global stakeholders.

Partner with clients across Google’s global business operations to resolve challenges and address opportunities across the short, medium and long term.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

15 years of leadership experience in talent acquisition and/or human resources roles.

Experience managing teams, building and delivering applicant pipelines, and planning/executing strategy in similar business environments.

Experience in a combination of recruiting, research and human capital areas.

Preferred qualifications:

Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience.

10 years of experience managing teams of other managers in a global environment.

Experience in management consulting or internal strategy.

Demonstrated success in planning and managing at both the strategic and operational level.

Ability to create and foster strong cross-functional networks and consult without direct authority. Ability to build and utilize strong, productive relationships to holistically solve problems.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
