The Position: GeneralManager - Travel & Affinity CoBrand businesses Responsibilities:Chase CardServices (CCS) is seeking a senior level executive to lead the Travel andAffinity Portfolio, including IHG, AARP, Avios/British Airways and Mary Kay. The role of General Manager, will have full accountability for meeting all ofthe consumer, small business and partner needs, which includes setting thebusiness unit strategy, managing the P&L and leading a small highperforming marketing team. The General Manager will also work crossfunctionally to deliver business objectives and financial targets againstobjectives. This individual will be responsible for working within theChase Card Services group as well as across the broader Chase organization tounderstand and direct strategic opportunities, develop marketing plans andexecute programs. Likewise this individual will be responsible for collaboratingwith the partner to understand their broader business objectives and uniquepartner marketing opportunities and channels, align on multi-year strategy andpriorities, and deliver against agreed upon financial metrics and marketinginitiatives. This individual must have strong overall business leadershipand be highly focused to ensure results exceed expectations. This individualmust have superior knowledge of consumer marketing (including digital/mobileacumen), acquisition, product and portfolio marketing initiatives. Importantly, they should command expertunderstanding of the key financial drivers such as risk management associatedwith the acquisition, portfolio and product aspects of the program and will beresponsible to deliver the annual P&L objectives. This position reportsto the President of CoBrand Cards, Chase Card Services, and representsa significant leadership opportunity within the Chase organization. Responsibilities:P&L: develop and achieve a multi-year financial plan and make key decisions around the profit and loss of the businessBusiness Strategy: create and implement the business strategy to drive sustained, profitable growth over timeMarketing: develop product positioning, branding and communications and execute an integrated 360 degree brand marketing campaignInnovation: Design and deliver the product innovation roadmap, including new products, features and benefits to sustain the card’s differential advantage vs. competitionProspect and Customer Marketing: acquire new customers and deepen relationships with existing customers across multiple internal and external channels. Follow a disciplined process for making investment decisions that takes into consideration both financial and risk criteriaCustomer Experience: design a seamless, digital first customer experienceRisk & Controls: adhere to rules, policies, and regulations associated with product, pricing, risk, and customer management. Ensure the entire product organization remains committed to controls, compliance and the overall safety and soundness of our businessLeadership - manage a high performing product team and lead a large cross-functional team supporting the businessQualifications:· 15 years of proven generalmanagement and leadership experience; possesses strength in the areas ofmarketing strategy and operational execution and control· Extensive acquisition, portfolio andconsumer credit card product experience combined with partner/clientrelationship management, and the ability to actively manage a P&L andproject management experience is desired· Demonstrated ability to build andsustain profitable businesses in a highly competitive environment throughmarketing strategies and product development· Experience or expertise in travel, consumerloyalty or hospitality loyalty programs· Proven consumer marketing skills toinclude digital channels, mobile and social media· Track record of building great teamsand attracting top talent· Strategic thinker with a passion forcreativity and innovation· Proven leadership and influencingskills and ability to collaborate across a highly matrixed team.· Extensive partner negotiation skills· Proven ability promoting a strongcontrol environment by adhering to risk/control expectations, procedures, andprocesses· Demonstrated experience usingknowledge of the digital market place to design content, construct knowledge,and communicate ideas· Proven ability to influence and collaborateacross a highly matrixed organization· Demonstrated experience realizingsynergies, and developing organizational best practices within a multi-facetedorganization· Experience delivering end-to-enddigital transformations· Bachelor's degree, Advanced degreepreferred JPMorgan Chase is an equal opportunity and affirmativeaction employer Disability/Veteran.
