This position will: Work with the development team and Department of Education Federal Student Aid to formulate requirements, review design, and assist with testing tasks that will enhance the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS), improve service, and increase performance efficiencies. Analyze business requirements, find innovative solutions to improved business support and operational performance, including but not limited to the NSLDS Customer Support Center, subject areas of the financial aid operations such as data reporting, transfer student monitoring, enrollment reporting, and Training. Generate and verify creation of standard and ad-hoc reports for management and ED customer relating to all functional areas of NSLDS. Create external business communications documents such as newsletters, technical updates, user guides, and web messages to assist users, understand enhancements to the NSLDS system. Assist ED with product specific inquiries, query assistance to retrieve appropriate data, and create training and presentations. Provide third-level support for NSLDS Customer Support Center including evaluating potential issues and finding resolutions. Perform a variety of administrative and analytical tasks in support of the NSLDS contract program. Interact regularly with the customers to ensure conformance to business requirements. Participates in special projects as required. Education Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience. Qualifications 2-5 years of directly related computer systems analysis and\/or programming experience. Experience with Federal Student Aid programs, including National Student Loan Data System preferred.
