This position is responsible for preparing financial and business related analyses and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, work capital, and investments. The incumbent has deep knowledge of multiple subject areas or disciplines; thorough understanding of business objectives, priorities and strategy for own area; and understands industry practices and competitors. He/she prioritizes work to meet project/team deliverables. This position impacts the function/ department through responsibility for the delivery of end results; may include multiple projects and processes.

Our Finance Professionals:

Acts as a key technical expert on financial analysis issues, concerns and special projects.

Interfaces with top management, responding to their requests for financial data and to resolve reporting and compliance issues.

Prepares special reports and financial studies for management and alerts them to significant variances to plan.

Coordinates, negotiates and resolves financial compliance issues with various governmental agencies to ensure accurate interpretation.

Coordinates with all levels of management, within and outside of the company, to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, operating forecasts and similar complex financial matters.

Acts as consultant to management on financial policy, procedure and application.

Conducts and may lead audits.

Prepares complicated financial analyses that provide tactical and strategic insight into business group operations.

Supervisory responsibilities for local and off site staff.

Prepares and manages Annual Business Plan, and monthly forecast updates, for Field Services, including overseeing the input into the Electronic Forecasting Tool (EFT), reviewing CRM data for accuracy, and drafting notes on variances, risks, and opportunities to be included in the corporate OFR.

Reviews and reports on variances for TCIC.

Analyzes and develops solutions to conduct business more efficiently whereby reducing costs where practical, and enhancing revenues for billable services where appropriate.

Involved in strategic short and long term planning.

Reviews weekly AR Aging and WIP reports for appropriateness.

Prepares and submits monthly Project Investment reports to Regional Business Manager

Cross trained in ABP database and other financial tools

Other duties as assigned.

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

B.S. or B.A. in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, equivalent major or equivalent experience.

8 years financial analysis experience.
