The Financial Analyst will be responsible for budget/forecast,

purchasing activities and supporting management reporting for the global GM

Audit Services team. This role is accountable for collecting information from

all Audit service lines (including GMF) on actuals, forecast, budget, external

resourcing spend, as well as other key metrics the department uses to measure

its operating effectiveness.


Work involves attention to detail but also the ability to

understand the big picture as there are multiple audit groups and functions

outside of audit to liaise with. Problem solving and the ability to communicate

effectively with all levels of management is imperative. This position is

well-suited to a strong financial analyst that is self-motivated with effective

communication skills.Accounting/FinancePrepare

and analyze monthly budget/forecast and headcount;Explain

variances in budget/forecast and perform further investigation as needed; Book

monthly accrual entries and adjusting journal entries, as needed;Review

and approve international rebills from the GMAS regions; Collect,

consolidate and analyse information from both GMFNA and GMFIO Audit teams;Maintain

all budget/forecast documentation and ensure it is supportableDocument

and maintain standard operating proceduresAbility

to problem solve and isolate GMAS headcount and costs from functions/regions PurchasingWork

with GMAS Management to determine external resourcing needs; Monitor

and track external resourcing spend; Approve

consultant expense reports;Process

Statements of Work (SOWs), generate shopping carts and purchase orders (POs),

spot buys and monitor supplier invoicing; Support

Purchasing Order Amendments (POAs);Work

with Purchasing and SAP CCoE to close old POs Management ReportingSupport

all Audit Committee, Board of Directors, and Executive Leadership Team

reporting requestsSupport

the maintanance of montly reporting pack to GMAS senior leadership, including

Knowledge:  Skilled in US GAAP accounting

Experience/Education:Education requirements:Basic: College degree with major in accounting or business

administration or related area equivalent experience; and a Professional

certification (CIA, CPA or other similar certification)Preferred: Graduate Degree3-5 years work experience within a

finance department managing either a financial accounting or management

accounting body of work2-3 years in Big 4 Public Accounting firm experience
