You will be responsible for bringing the Retirement Plan Services story and core competencies to life in new business and retention situations, as well as in sales and service collateral materials\/digital content. You will also act as a resource to applicable internal stakeholders. You will develop and implement efficient and effective more complex marketing plans and\/or collateral materials\/digital content that results in measurable business goals and drives market awareness of Lincolns products and\/or services.ResponsibilitiesMarketingDevelops the messaging and collateral for finalist and re-bid presentationsEnsures all field marketing content (collateral, web and other digital content, success stories, videos, target market overviews, web guides and manuals) is up-to-dateBuilds knowledge of the retirement plan industry and key external audiencesDevelops and implements marketing plans, in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders, which are driven by assigned area(s) of responsibilitys business goalsServes as a resource and collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop and implement new marketing approaches which enhance and maintain the competitive position of assigned area(s) of responsibility in the marketplaceCreates more complex communications and marketing collateral, in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders, that support consistent enterprise core messaging and business goalsCommunicates more complex marketing plans and ensures they are understood by all stakeholders and team membersEnsures more complex marketing collateral content is accurate, relevant, and consistent in terms of style, quality tone of voice, and which optimizes market awareness of Lincolns products and\/or servicesBuilds relationships and partners with internal stakeholders to elicit and capture more complex marketing business goals and ensure all marketing tools, collateral and plans are in alignment with the business goals and objectivesManages the development of more complex marketing materialsAnalyzes and provides more complex performance metrics to track and assess the effectiveness of assigned marketing plans to management and\/or appropriate internal stakeholdersUtilizes resources to ensure more complex marketing collateral is compliant with all applicable regulatory requirements and consistent with Lincoln editorial and branding standardsBusiness AcumenMaintains knowledge on current and emerging developments\/trends, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutionsChampions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and\/or departmental\/enterprise initiativesServes as a resource to team members and applicable internal\/external stakeholders on more complex assignments\/projectsIdentifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve qualityConsults\/Analyze on more complex assignments and\/or projectsRemains current in profession and industry trendsRequirementsEducation4 Year\/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)Experience3 - 5 years experience in marketing that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this positionStrong project management skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlinesAbility to read, analyze and interpret both internal and external documents such as general media\/publications, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, proposals, and standard operating proceduresConfident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skillsApply concepts such as probability, statistics, modeling, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutionsWorks with mathematical concepts such as averages and\/or variancesAbility to analyze information and to evaluate the implications of a course of action or solutionAbility to interpret and apply common sense understanding to carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formAbility to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsDefine problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusionsEvaluate trends in data or informationAbility to perform under stress in cases of emergency, critical or hazardous situationsAbility to work with others in a team environmentDemonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues);
