Facilities Maintenance Manager

Working in our Phoenix Distribution Center and reporting to the General Manager, you and your team will support a 7-day operation with more than 1,300 employees in our 1.2M square foot facility. Own the upkeep and repair of the building, grounds and equipment (automation & systems), including the electrical, HVAC, conveyor, forklift, fire preventative equipment and all OSHA programs. Coordinate and manage local contractors and vendors to obtain high quality, cost-effective and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead and develop a maintenance team of 20 associates across three shifts

+ Maintain efficiency and safety of all equipment, monitoring the daily operation and consult with team to determine future needs

+ Coordinate across the business with operations managers and supervisors to establish priorities and schedule the workload to satisfy production needs

+ Manage vendor and contractor relationships and monitor work conducted, serving as a project manager on improvements and repairs

+ Ensuring accurate parts inventory and equipment, including sourcing

Qualifications:

+ Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience

+ Minimum of 6 years of experience in the maintenance field, supervising a team of mechanics or maintenance professionals

+ Knowledge of building codes, trade standards, and general practices within the maintenance field

+ Knowledge of electricity, mechanical, construction, plumbing and HVAC, automation and controls, and preventative maintenance programs and systems

+ Strong communication, organizational and project management abilities
