Your Responsibilities

As a

Facility Engineer,

for the John Deere Coffeyville located in Coffeyville, KS you will provide project management of projects limited in scope and complexity related to the facility infrastructure, production machines, equipment and processes that support the manufacturing, maintenance and/or distribution operation. In addition, you will:

Provide engineering design for the infrastructure for the facility, grounds and production equipment and processes through both internal and external resources

Provide troubleshooting of the facility infrastructure and production equipment to support production, manufacturing, distribution and maintenance operations

Build and maintain good business relationships with outside contractors in support of the facility, grounds and production equipment

Implement and support programs within the organization to prevent injuries illnesses

Assist in the identification and resolution of potential safety, ergonomic and health hazards

What Skills You Need

Strong background and experience in Electrical

Experience in Project management and business planning

Knowledge of safety, quality and environmental laws, regulations and goals

What Makes You Stand Out

Proficient in Microsoft Office

2 or more years of Electrical experience

Experience working with outside contractors

1 or more years of experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems

Experience in SAP

Education

(or equivalent work experience)

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience.
