Position Overview

The position reports to the Director of Facilities Management. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide assistance with facilities management of the main hangar at Elliott Street, including handling space allocations, seat assignments, coordinating moves, and screening requests for access to facilities in collaboration with Safety & Security.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinating with outsourced vendors to ensure adequate service delivery and issue resolution to improve, repair and maintain corporate facilities

Coordinating with parking management for hangar-based staff

Coordinating with parking shuttle management as needed

Assist Facilities Manager – Hangar to process and track all facilities related tickets

Work directly with department manager, vendors, Accounting and Strategic Procurement

Track and expedite orders and resolve order discrepancies

Perform routine clerical duties and respond promptly to requests and issues from facility occupants

May assist with facilities management at the terminal and other company facilities


Minimum Requirements

High school diploma

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Successful track record of effectively and independently prioritizing between multiple important tasks on a daily basis and implementing process improvements in order to facilitate the flow of information in a department in a timely and efficient manner

Proven ability to follow-up on all matters with attention to detail

Ability to work independently while maintaining an energetic and positive attitude

Ability to establish productive working and vendor relationships

Ability to maintain the highest standards of discretion and confidentiality at all times

Proficiency with word processing, presentation and spreadsheet applications. (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.)

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

Experience in property management or facility related projects
