The successful candidate for the Facilities Analyst/Engineer role will provide strong technical expertise to the Danbury Facility and support the facilities and maintenance team with all aspects of the Building Maintenance Systems and HVAC. The Danbury facility is approximately 533,000 square feet ad operates 24/7 365 days a year.

Duties of the position include:

* Building automation system design, programming, and panel building, as it related to various building HVAC, chillers, wastewater, and boiler systems etc.

* Fully understanding the operation & maintenance of DX, chilled water, hot water, air and water cooled, VAV and steam systems

* Design & documentation of building automation and control systems, including layout and construction of control panel, programming logic, and operator interface design and implementation

* Work closely with the Facilities Manager and Supervisor on all Building Maintenance Systems and projects associated with the BMS which may include plan execution, material & cost management and more


Trade skills should include:

* Programmable Logic Control (PLC) experience

* Retro-commissioning building systems

* Converting pneumatic controls to digital systems

* Soldering, brazing, etc.

* Load calculations and tools associated with the trade

Qualified candidates should have the ability to coordinate and manage contracted work. They should also have the ability to perform in a fast paced aerospace facility environment that operates 24 hours/day and 365 days a year.

Candidate should have:

* excellent communication skills with all levels of an organization

* knowledge of Microsoft Office Products

* excellent project management skills

* ability to work in a collaborative team environment as well as independently

The position requires a minimum of 15+ year’s HVAC and BMS experience aligned with job responsibilities in an industrial setting. We are looking for someone with applicable state specific licensing or accreditation required such as an S2, D2 or equal certification. An engineering degree (facilities, industrial, mechanical, electrical, etc.) or equivalent years of experience is required.
