This position requires an Active Secret US Security Clearance. Security clearance information must be provided in resume to be considered for position. Position Responsibilities Work closely with the Ground Operations group and will be responsible for providing engineering instructions and oversight to troubleshoot various air vehicle subsystems, including Vehicle Management System (VMS)/flight controls, Integrated Vehicle Subsystem Control (IVSC), Stores Management System (SMS)/weapons, Environmental Control System (ECS), hydraulics, landing gear/brakes, fuel system, etc. Backup Mass Properties and will oversee aircraft weighing, including generating weight and CG files, as well as generating Form F's for various aircraft configurations. Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems by interfacing and coordinating with internal and external military, contractor, and civil service personnel. Qualifications This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor's Degree or higher is required. Engineering experience with air vehicle systems, i.e., Vehicle Management System (VMS)/flight controls, Integrated Vehicle Subsystem Control (IVSC), Stores Management System (SMS)/weapons, Environmental Control System (ECS), hydraulics, landing gear/brakes, fuel system, etc. Experience interfacing with multiple organizations including Integrated Product Team (IPT) system engineers, maintenance, test pilots and management. Position requires a current Secret security clearance (last update must be within 5 years) and the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance. Security clearance information must be provided in resume to be considered for position. This position will require working flexible hours, overtime and occasional weekends when necessary to support ground and flight test missions. Travel may also be required to support maintenance and test requirements at other locations. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Previous F22 experience is highly desired, especially design/test experience with F22 air vehicle systems. Active F-22 SAP/SAR CLR/Projects program access is preferred, but if not currently active, must be able to obtain F-22 SAP/SAR CLR/Projects program access. If, at any time, the applicant loses their security clearance, this will be grounds for dismissal. M ust have excellent communication and leadership skills. Typical Education/Experience: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
