Experiential Marketing Communications Specialist (On-Road)

Experiential Marketing is a key component of the On-Road Divisions go to market strategy driven by the lifestyle nature of the Motorcycle category. In this role the Specialist will lead planning and execution for key experiential programs throughout the year for both the Indian Motorcycle and Slingshot brands. Key responsibilities include planning and execution of consumer events, briefing and management of agency partners, day to day management of an event field team, onsite management during key consumer events, shows and rallies. This individual will partner with commercialization and sales teams,external agency partners and cross-functional groups within Polaris to execute the event and drive connection in all applicable marketing channels.

Lead & execute planning and annual management for Indian Motorcycle on Tourprogram.

Indian Motorcycle on Tour is a small-scale event activation programtargeted and drastically increasing Indian Motorcycle’s brand awareness andfamiliarity. It is a 365 day a year program active in North America, andis one of the top marketing programs the brand runs annually.

Specific areas of responsibility:

-Primary point of contact with 3-5 person event field team

-Guidance and approval of over 200 annual events

-Manage to 7 figure program budget

-Facilitate event awareness and collaboration with Field Sales, Dealers, andIMRG Members

-Responsible for results and communication of event KPI metrics, includingmonthly countermeasures as needed

-Lead collaboration across teams (e.g. PG&A, digital, apparel, etc.) tomaximize program impact

-Work with agency team to develop creative and collateral to maximize impact ofevent activations

-Attend events on occasion

Lead & execute strategies,objectives, planning, and management for Slingshot experiential events &Select Indian Motorcycle events: Specific events will include bothconsumer and dealer network facing activations, including (but not limited to)annual dealer Town Hall sessions, Auto-Shows / Air / Boat Shows, Racingactivations, Rally support (Sturgis), etc.

Specific areas of responsibility:

-Comprehensive event strategy, including event calendar, investment, andrationale

-Display layouts, contents and logistics

-Event budgets

-Develop event communications and communication calendar; communicate tointernal team, web, social, field sales, agency partners, PR, dealers, andconsumers. Work with cross-functional team to promote events to consumersacross paid, owned, and earned media properties. Ensure execution.

-Lead and develop a unified plan across wholegoods, accessories & apparel

-Staff strategy, plan and on-site execution

-Formulate ROI for expenditures inclusive of budget & retail goals

-Responsible for results and communication of event KPI metrics

Lead Experiential ROI Tracking for Slingshot, Indian, and Flat TrackSponsorship Partners and share Quarterly Updates with Teams

Support Overall Development of Marketing Plan Related to Experiential Elements
