The successful candidate must be flexible.  Main Areas of Responsibilities

Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.

Chauffeurs the top-level executives and visitors, to and from corporate facilities, meetings, airports and special events.  

May be required to be on call beyond normal working hours, including weekends and overnight, to transport executives and visitors, as needed.

Responsible for the appearance and operation of the company vehicle, and ensures that it receives proper maintenance and service in accordance with the manufacturers specifications.

Maintains accurate records of expenses, work completed and vehicle inspections.

May require special security training.

May perform miscellaneous errands, as needed.

Ensures compliance with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.

Performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements

 Incumbents in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, pushing and pulling, stooping and crouching climbing and walking, vision to monitor, occasional lifting of equipment or materials weighing up to 70 pounds. Sitting and driving for extended periods of time may be required.  Ability to work nights, weekends and overnight also required.  Being mentally and physically fit and being alert at all times. No smoking is preferred.  

  Knowledge of:

Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory requirements.

Business English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation.

Business and personal computer hardware and software applications, including Microsoft Office and Internet.

New Jersey and surrounding area roadways and alternates.

Maps and directions, via different sources (i.e., Navigation systems, Internet, Thomas Guide).

Current Company policies and practices, including safety rules and regulations.

Skill in:

Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. 

Ability to read, write and understand documentation in English.

Establish and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others.

Highest level of discretion and professionalism, sense of urgency and attention to detail.

Being dependable, trustworthy, courteous and presentable.

Demonstrating large measure of common sense, loyalty, integrity and honesty

Interaction with executives and administrative assistants.

Providing excellent customers service with both internal and external customers.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three (3) years directly related experience.  Prior security/law enforcement experience preferred. Clean driving record and valid drivers license required.
