Our caregivers focus on each unique patient to deliver the appropriate care and emotional support to our patients and their families.As an Executive Director Specialist - Home Health, you will:•Take action, make decisions and shape teams or group priorities to achieve branch clinical and operational goals.•Manage the operations of Branch Staff in achievement of identified clinical and operational goals.•Ensure effective and ongoing, on-the-job training of team members, evaluate and record individual and team performance, provide coaching and counseling, and make appropriate developmental recommendations.•Recognize and reward associates whose actions support the Company’s vision and values.•Establish criteria and/or work procedures to achieve a high level of quality, productivity or service. Dedicate time and energy to assignments or tasks to ensure that no aspect of the work is neglected; work to overcome obstacles to completing tasks or assignments.•Meet or exceed budgeted revenue and EBITDA on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.•Maintain full responsibility of the overall functions of the financials areas and cost controls, adhere to financial and accounting policies and procedures and manages expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner.•Adhere to all standardized procedures.•Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations and the Company’s policies and procedures.•Guide the setting of specific and measurable team goals and objectives. Help to clarify roles and responsibilities of team members; help ensure that necessary steering, review or support functions are in place. Clarifie expected behaviors, knowledge and level of proficiency be seeking and giving information and checking for understanding.•Recruit, select and mentor site leadership team and all other program staff. Work closely with site leadership on supervision, development and direction of employees in accordance with policies, procedures and guidelines.•Work with Sales Leadership to develop approaches that best position products, services or ideas in the marketplace.•Along with Sales Leadership, is active in the community in promoting Gentiva to help achieve business growth and brand awareness.•Present products, services or ideas in the marketplace in a manner that clearly shows how they meet needs and provide benefits.•Work with regional and program leadership to develop and implement comprehensive business development plans for the branch.•Organize information and data to identify/explain major trends, problems and causes; compare and combine information to identify underlying issues. Generate and consider options for actions to achieve a long-range goal or vision; develop decision criteria considering factors such as cost, benefits, risks, timing, and buy-in; select the strategy most likely to succeed.
