['Executive Director, Internal Control','1712201','Estée Lauder Companies Corporate Departments','Finance & Accounting','Americas-US-New York','','','','','Full-time','1st (Day) Shift','','Standard','','','!*!The Executive Director, Internal Control provides leadership and oversight of the business process area of the Internal Control Department which delivers independent, objective assurance and advisory services designed to provide the Audit Committee and Executive Management with assessments of the adequacy of the effectiveness of ELC’s control structure and business processes and to propose recommendations for enhancements, as needed.Key Roles and Responsibilities:Effectively lead the Business Process Group in executing operational, financial and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) reviews in all divisions and operations of the CompanyLead the development of the annual business audit plan using a risk based approach; present the plan to Executive Management and the Audit CommitteeLead the preparation of the annual business process risk assessment ensuring that it addresses all businesses of the Company and aligns with the Company’s strategic planChampion Business Process Group team members’ personal development, career progression and department diversityLead the recruitment process to attract highly qualified and high potential talentDevelop strong working relationships with business owners to facilitate the execution of reviews, understanding of findings and recommendations to enhance operational and financial controlsBenchmark regularly with peers through various forums and conferencesWork closely with the external auditors on the coordination of resources in executing the SOX reviews worldwideInterface regularly with senior corporate and business managementReview all audit reports and memos for completeness and ensure proper follow-up procedures are in place on all action items','!*!BA in Accounting/Finance/BusinessMinimum 10 years experienceCPA or MBA Finance','We are an equal opportunity employer.
