Reporting to the Global Head of Internal Communications, the Executive Communications Manager drives meaningful communications programs that inspire employees to care about our company and culture, live our values and do their best work.

Develop and execute strategic communications plans and campaigns for global internal programs.

Serve as a key partner and advisor to senior executives and corporate functional groups for internal communications efforts ensuring consistent, frequent, transparent and impactful communications.

Act as a counselor and coach to the functional group teams on employee communications strategies to drive impactful communications programs.

Develop and execute strategies and activities to attract and engage prospective employees and create an exceptional onboarding experience.

Create a steady stream of content to help employees understand company strategy, goals, purpose and values.

Analyze and determine the most effective communications channels and make recommendations for improvement.

Collaborate with other communicators across the company to develop a coordinated and holistic communications approach that builds trust and confidence internally with key stakeholders.

Promote and uphold Jacobs’ communication and reputation management policies and consistently reinforce the company’s brand standards.


8 to 10 years’ experience, preferably working in a business-to-business environment.

Ability to craft and convey messages clearly and authentically and guide executives on what will resonate with employees.

Experienced in change management communications (preferred).

Insatiable desire to learn more about our business and the work and value we provide clients.

Prefers working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity. A positive attitude is required.

Exceptional speaking, writing, editing and proofreading skills.

Experienced writing for a variety of mediums: web, video, email, etc.

Innovative storytelling capabilities.

Excellent project management skills, including managing project teams.

Strategic, creative and critical thinker.

Understands how strategic internal communications can drive business outcomes.

Stays apprised of the latest communications trends and tools.

Understands the importance of measurement and ROI.

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or public relations.

He has 35 years of experience in the exhibition, marketing and distribution of American independent and international cinema in the U.S. He is perhaps best known as the founding film buyer for the Angelika Film Center in New York City which under his supervision (from opening day in 1989 until 1997) became the highest grossing art cinema in the country. He was the Managing Director and Film Buyer of the Paris Theatre from 1998 to 2009. At present, he programs over 50 movie theatre screens across the country.
