Boeing Global Services (BGS) currently has an opening for Estimating and Pricing Specialist in its ISS (Infrastructure Support Services) business segment. This opportunity provides exposure to Domestic Customers. The team is responsible for the estimating and pricing of the Support Services effort on current and future Domestic campaigns. The current campaigns provide opportunities to interact with Business Development, Senior Management and Executives. Estimators interact regularly with all functions (Program Management, Business Development, Engineering, Product Support, Contracts and Procurement Financial Analysis) and will be exposed to a wide variety of proposal types (competitive, production and, ROM/Formal). Additional opportunities to support various Boeing Products and Services, offer exposure to Design/ Development/ Production estimating. As a Value Integrator, the estimator will have the opportunity to assist in preparing a recommended Business Solutions for the efforts being worked. This position offers opportunities for not only expanding knowledge and experience in the business, but also has a variety of opportunities to grow in many areas including leadership experience.
The estimator will:
Develop estimates from technical requirements through the design, build, and support stages of the program.
Develop, prepare and validate estimates and prices. Evaluate requests for proposal, substantiate estimates/pricing,
Assemble and price proposals. Develop estimating and pricing methods. Evaluate and develop business cases. Perform analyses and provide recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.). Develop and maintain pricing models. Incorporate data into and maintain structured systems and coordinate program database requirements. Develop/apply/maintain rates and factors for estimating, pricing and proposals. Perform compliance activities including policy and procedure development, system/tool deployment and training delivery.
Lead in proposal development for new products and follow-on business
Assist with requirements definition and proposal strategy within a cross functional team (including Engineering, Product Support, Contracts, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, and Program Management)
Actively lead the development of the estimate collaborating with the technical community and providing analysis to validate the best estimate
Train and mentor other estimators
Additional assignments, such as participation on process improvement teams, special projects and maintaining metrics will be required.
Occasional domestic travel may be required.
Internal customers - Contracts, Program Management, Business Manager, Business Development, Technical IPTs
External customers - USG, DCMA and DCAA.

Basic Required Qualifications:
Experience working in a cross functional environment
More than 1 year of finance experience
Experience analyzing/interpreting large volumes of data and presenting your findings to others
This position requires an active
U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively across functions
Creative problem solving skills
Ability to read Statements of Work and understand the impact on BGS resources
Basic knowledge of Boeing policies and procedures for USG
Detailed knowlege of the proposal process and TINA requirements
Basic knowledge or the US government acquisition regulations and processes
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Ability to analyze data and summarize conclusions
Strong time management skills and ability to work multiple projects at once
Self-motivated in order to stay on top of assignments and proactively work issues
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of Tools
Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
