Position Description

Performs general preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing, R&D and quality equipment. Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components, and performs basic troubleshooting using detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions. Must have the ability to use a variety of tools and test equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.  Maintains appropriate maintenance records on our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). 

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Preventive Maintenance on production, Quality and R&D equipment.

Repair equipment and detail work performed on our EWR System .

Respond to environmental and equipment alarms as needed (On Call).

Provide equipment data and/or quality records to supporting business units; Execute equipment verifications post repair as required.

Purchase required spare parts as instructed.

With supervision, perform new equipment installations and relocations.

Assist outside contractors with equipment maintenance activities.

Coordinate equipment availability with end users for scheduled maintenance.

Demonstrated knowledge of preventive maintenance systems

Must be able to gown up and work inside an aseptic manufacturing clean room environment as needed.

Must be able to work an on-call schedule as needed.

Working Knowledge of MS Office

Must possess good verbal and written communication skills

Minimum Requirements and Education:

High School or equivalent education required

Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience

Experience following SOP’s in a CGMP environment.

Working knowledge of maintenance preventive maintenance systems

Must be able to comfortably lift 70lbs
