Job Description:

The Enterprise

Architect is responsible for the creation, maintenance and management of IT

architecture models and their lower level components. They are also required to

interpret, use and apply information contained within IT architecture to inform

a range of business improvement activities, particularly those involved in the

design, integration, development, enhancement and maintenance of IT systems.


Recommends and participates in activities related tothe design, development and maintenance of the Enterprise Architecture(EA).

Researches overall solutions for particular technicalrequirements and business needs.

Conducts and/or actively participates in meetingsrelated to the designated projects.

Advises and recommends enterprise architecturestrategies, processes, and methodologies.

Recommends and participates in the analysis,evaluation, and development of enterprise long-term strategic and operatingplans to ensure that the EA objectives are consistent with the enterprise’slong-term business objectives.

Shares best practices, lessons learned and constantlyupdates the technical system architecture requirements based on changingtechnologies, and knowledge related to recent, current, and up-coming vendorproducts and solutions.

Participates in and manages Architecture WorkingGroups for the development and maintenance of the EA.

Collaborates with all relevant parties in order toreview the objectives and constraints of each solution and determineconformance with the EA. Recommends the most suitable technical architectureand defines the solution at a high level.

Recommends and participates in the development ofarchitecture blueprints for related systems.

Identifies and recommends areas appropriate forfurther study and participates in any Proof of Concept projects required tothoroughly investigate architectural possibilities and strengthen arguments fortheir adoption.

Identifies implementation risks and analyses potentialimpact on the enterprise and on the achievement of scheduled objectives.

Recommends and participates in the design andimplementation of standards, tools and methodologies.


Bachelor's degree, Master’s degree preferred,

in computer science or related field

Five years relevanttechnical architecture experience

Knowledge oftechnical architecture – Cloud Storage,Compute, Networking and Security

Knowledge of threetier application development platforms and frameworks

Operating systems Linux, Windows

Databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle andopen source databases

Knowledge of middleware technologies for integratingdisparate business applications

Knowledge of ERP systems – Oracle

Cloud implementation(IAAS, PAAS, SAAS) experiencewill be a plus
