Dynamet is a member of Carpenter’s Performance Engineered Products division and maintains a second manufacturing facility in Clearwater, Florida. Engineering and Maintenance Manager – Washington, PA location PRIMARY DUTIES Plans and directs all aspects of engineering activities including but not limited to: Facility expansion and capacity additions. New process/technology/equipment procurement and implementation. Support of ongoing operations Management of the Engineering Department and its employees. Management of the Central Maintenance Department Management of the facility Capital Expenditure function Direct involvement in the management of the Lockout/Tag Out Try Program Ensures all projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization’s established project management methodology, policies and objectives Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Four-year college degree in related field.  5 – 10 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager and/or Engineer in a manufacturing environment and preference for 5 years of managerial experience in a related technical discipline or manufacturing.   Ability to travel as required. Ability to execute business plans and achieve goals.  Ability to lead others to effectively manage individual employee performance.    Ability to train and develop other professionals. Ability to lead teams in: problem solving, project completion, root-cause analysis and other critical tasks. Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions and approaches to problems.   Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions.  Ability to work under frequently changing priorities. Ability to be a team player, consistently delivers against commitment to the team and its individual members.
