This role is a Vehicle Management Systems Engineer and requires coursework and/or experience in aircraft vehicle management systems. Duties include: flight critical system design for aircraft control; architecture design with optimized redundancy levels; trade studies; specification of hardware elements and technical support to procurement; vehicle management software specification and oversight; fault management design; lab testing of flight hardware & software; on-aircraft testing; support to vehicle flight testing; and anomaly resolution. We seek candidates with strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and the ability to organize work, manage time, plan, and prioritize.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree is Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 2 years’ experience directly related to vehicle management systems or Master’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 0 years of experience in an aerospace environment

Coursework and/or experience in aircraft vehicle management systems

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's of Science in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering

Candidate must be able to collaborate in a team environment, prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result, prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplishing them simultaneously, and comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions.
