POSITION SUMMARY

 Santander is seeking a hands-on manager to lead our cross-sell activities with existing customers. This role will be responsible for overseeing the daily responsibilities of email deployment, including collaboration with internal stakeholders regarding content, testing, versioning, vendor management and the tracking, analysis and distribution of campaign results to all applicable stakeholders. The Email Marketing Manager will own specific programs related to customer growth and will expected to apply best practices to new and existing campaigns.

In this capacity, they will be responsible for set up and QA of campaigns through Experian (our email service provider) and sharing results with stakeholders.

POSITION DUTIES

·         Performance metric examples include Open Rate, Click-to-Open Rate, Delivery Rate, Conversion Rate, Revenue per Email Sent, Bounce Rate, Unit Sales, Dollars Booked, Balance Increased, Draw Rate and Unsubscribe Rate.

·         Conducts competitive research and monitors industry best practices and changes and develops a strategy to successfully implement those findings into day-to-day operations.

·         Manage test design, performance tracking and make optimization recommendations.

·         Actively manages strategic partnership with email distribution vendor, drive the email campaign program towards a more targeted personalized approach with more automation of behavioral triggered campaigns and improved productivity.

·         Effectively track and understand key performance metrics which directly affect overall campaign performance, and translate that understanding into goal-setting and the successful delivery of those goals.

·         Leads cross-functional discussions with internal stakeholders which include Marketing, Campaign Management, Product, Legal and Compliance regarding deployment process while also taking the lead on overall content/distribution strategy and testing.

Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point); Familiarity with HTML a plus

EXPERIENCE

 Between 2 - 4 years

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

·         Capable of understanding and driving technology as a key component of the business.

·         Demonstrated track of record of top outstanding performance achievement.

·         Knowledge and/or the ability to learn about the email marketing campaign process.

·         Strong coaching, motivational, negotiation and presentation capabilities.

·         Strong statistical and analytical skills for both data, root cause and process flow analysis, with the ability to define and create metrics, reports, tools and other resources to quantify and analyze results.

·         Used to work in a demanding, constantly changing and fast moving organization.
