The Electro - Mechanical Technician is a Tier 1 responder who is primarily responsible for conducting preventive maintenance and focused Electrical/Mechanical repairs on highly automated equipment. In addition, the Sr. Pharmacy Automation Services Specialist will coordinate the problem solving and repairs resulting from observing variances between the machine operation and the defined equipment specifications.

Execute preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance in accordance with stated policies.
Collaborate with Automation Engineers and Application Developers to identify improvement opportunities.
Act as first responder for all operational needs relating to production and application issues. Quickly troubleshoot and fix machine issues. If unable to solve, escalate to Automation Engineer.

Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment,, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
Flexibility to work 2nd shifts. (Hours and days will vary)
0 - 2 y ea r s of r e leva n t wo r king e x per i en c e with De g re e/Certification .
M e c h ani c al e x pe r i en c e related t o a ut o m ated equ i p m en t .
3-5 years industry experience. E x per i e n c e w or k i n g in a h i g h v ol u m e automation p r o du c t i on environment (phar m a c eut i c al e n v i ro n m en t preferred).
Experience reading schematics; able to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and pneumatic issues; competent use of tools and procedures needed to repair precision electro-mechanical machinery; able to troubleshoot in basic controls system
T r a i n i n g in OSHA s af e ty gu i del i n e s 1910. (preferred)
Microsoft Office and C o m p u ter i z e d Ma i n te n a n c e Ma n a g e m e n t S y s t e m s ( CM M S ) preferred.
P L C's, I/O and f i e l d de v i c e s ; repa i r i n g, s et t i n g up, ad j u s t i n g a n d tuning m e c ha ni c al s y s t e m s a n d p n e u m at i c or hydr a ul i c s y s t e m s .(preferred)

They have also recalled the FreeStyle Flash® Meter and FreeStyle® Classic meters.
