Overview We are seeking to fill the position of aSales Account Manager, Catalonia and North of Spain Reporting To: National System Sales Manager Spain & PortugalBased from: BarcelonaSalary: Base %Company Car: Yes ResponsibilitiesThe main responsibilities include: As a member of the System Solutions Sales Department in the South Europe Region, your primary responsibilities will be the sales of Liquid Chromatography, SFC, Mass Spectrometry systems and laboratory informatics, according the company targets in East/North of Spain. The main focus of your activities in your sales territory will be on: Follow-up of existing sales opportunitiesProactive prospection to develop new markets and open new opportunities according to corporate plans and guidelinesMaintenance of existing customers Additional responsibilities include:Cooperation with after sales Service, Finance and Consumables Business OrganizationsLeading necessary actions to keep Customer Satisfaction in your territoryParticipation in National and International meetings and Training eventsFormulating and successfully implementing business plans.Planning and prioritizing personal time and sales activities.Maintenance of customer databases and reporting of sales activities as requested by corporate policiesThe role will require traveling at least 50% of your time. Qualifications The ideal candidate:Degree in Chemistry/BiochemistryStrong Technical background in Analytical Chemistry, Chromatography (HPLC, UHPLC) and Mass Spectrometry (LC/MS).Strong decision making and influencing skills.A very strong drive for result with capability to push opportunities forward and close orders.Ability to manage a large territory.Excellent teamwork abilities. Effective relationships with both internal and external customers: Excellent communication and presentation skills.High level communication experience with Executives. Asset management consultancy know-how.Sales and/or marketing experience is an advantage.Good knowledge of English language. Other European languages (Italian, French): a plus.Driving license
