The main purpose of this position is to manage the day-to-day functions associated with operating dray trucks and drivers in various regional and metropolitan markets.\r
The function will include load planning and driver management, focusing on high production levels, on-time delivery, and minimizing deadhead within the regional operations. This must be done while meeting the key performance indicators that insure a financially sound operation and reliable service product. ,JRECRUITER:Mark Lundgren ,JHOURS:Full Time \/ Days,JQUAL:A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration is preferred with an emphasis in Marketing, Management, or Transportation\/Logistics, or equivalent experience. Two or three years transportation experience, preferably in the truckload segment of the industry. Two to three years customer service experience preferred. Six months to one-year supervisory experience preferred.
