Here’s how this role will help:Manage a Dermatology Region consisting of approximately six to ten representatives, with the primary objective of meeting region sales goals established for all Mylan Branded Dermatology products.Recruit, hire, and develop competent representatives on a timely basis. Train representatives in the field and assist with home-office training.Administer Mylan policies, including annual performance appraisal and all required administrative responsibilities.Work with all representatives on a regular basis, as described in the Region Sales Manager’s Standard of Performance; provide feedback to them and the home office. Assist in territory realignments and territory organization.Develop Region business plan and meet standards of performance for Region Sales Managers.Manage Region sales operations to meet or exceed annual sales goals and forecasts.Aid representatives with personal development as appropriate and necessary for their level of expertise and career goals.Provide clear verbal and written direction to Sales Representatives.Assure that all sales and marketing programs are implemented in the region.Responsible for significant portion of U.S. business. Manage expenses within region, as well as personal.Interface with home office management, providing input as necessary.Meet expectations of Senior Sales Management in terms of meeting the organization’s objectives and schedules.Supervise all representatives, one designated as region trainer. Here are the minimum qualifications and essential functions for this position:Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 3 year’s pharmaceutical sales management experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. Position functions semi-autonomously. Position directly supervises 6-10 employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Strong planning and organizing skills. Proven experience with independent decision making and sound judgment. Communication skills/interpersonal effectivenessAbility to safely operate a motor vehicle and travel as required Territory: Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Missouri, TennesseeMay be required to stand; walk; stoop; bend; kneel; and climb steps.
