OVERVIEW:

Working as Full-Time Distribution Center Help Desk Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Distribution Center helpdesk and our front office, including branch and customer interactions, at our Distribution Center located at 9911 Woodend Road, Edwardsville, KS 66111.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Developing and training others to achieve optimal business results and personal goals

o Handling helpdesk tickets and phone calls in a timely, accurate and professional manner

o Performing stock checks and inventory auditing

o Ensuring all quality standards are met or exceeded

o Making sure will-call product is accurate and on time

o Upholding all hub and company policies and safety standards

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

o A valid driver's license and the ability to meet our driving record requirements

o Excellent written and oral communication skills

o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite

o Possess strong math aptitude

o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning, and decision making skills

o Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

o Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities

o Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented

o Demonstrate strong attention to detail

o Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule

o Ability to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs

o Ability to pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

o Possess at least one year of Fastenal leadership experience

o Previous managerial experience and product knowledge.
