Position Description

Support Ally Bank in the handling and disposition of all aspects of electronic banking disputes to include debit card claims, ACH claims, and various other electronic access issues. Position interacts with customers, internal partners and external partners as part of a daily routine. Ensures Ally Bank complies with all regulatory requirements

Job Responsibilities

Serve as a contact point relative to Reg E claim research and resolution.

Ensure that Ally Bank complies with Reg E statutes and requirements.

Interact with Ally Bank customers, internal and external partners and third party vendors relative to Electronic Banking issues.

Maintains a database of pending claims, customer documentation, losses and recoveries.

Involvement in monitoring provisional credits to customers.

Maintains a thorough knowledge of Reg E and interacts with Fraud Prevention Unit as needed.

Knowledge of Ally Bank's product and services.

Completion of filing and filing maintenance, both physical and electronic.

Recommend policy/procedure and customer notification changes as needed.

Completion of reports to management as required.

Ensure active participation in the daily review and process of ACH transactions.

Maintain a thorough knowledge of Ally Bank's processes pertaining to bill pay and debit cards.

Interact with various partners within the organization relative to Debit Cards/BillPay/CMG/Ally Perks.

Must be able to work Tuesday-Saturday from 8:00 am- 5:00 pm

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum of 3 years experience in financial services

NACHA and check certification required

Minimum of 4 years of banking experience in the field of electronic banking with specific experience in the processing of Regulation E claims, including customer communications, investigations and final resolutions

Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of Regulation E, OFAC, AML and BSA

Business Unit/Enterprise Function

Deposit Operations services the Deposits organization of Ally Bank. The team consists of over 200 associates across two locations (Ft Washington, PA and Lewisville, TX). The primary focus of the team is to support customers and our contact center teammates with a variety of activities geared around account maintenance, money movement, loss mitigation, complaint handling and projects. The department is divided into 8 teams and each team has associates that provide subject matter expertise specific to their area. Adherence to high quality output is critical along with; timelines, productivity, regulatory adherence and ensuring our culture is forefront in all that we do every day.
