Responsible for working directly with the Microsoft (MS) client and other vendors ensuring physical security excellence at all assigned Data Centers, Managed Labs, and critical infrastructure environments in the US and abroad. Manages the entire MS Global Foundation Services Physical Security Consulting Team, Security Operations Team and related security services provided to multiple Microsoft critical infrastructure locations; including client services and problem resolution, oversight of security consulting and uniformed officer services; other service enhancement, operational effectiveness, budget oversight, preparation of post orders, internal and third-party audit compliance, staffing, scheduling, budget, project management, supervision, staff development and training.

Directly manages a team of Regional Security Managers, Security Consultants, and an Audit and Compliance Manager; indirectly manages Site Security Managers and uniformed staff.

Provides strategic and tactical security consulting and management services for Global Foundation Services Physical Security.

Works with Regional Security Managers in creating security models that enables teams to maintain a high level of accountability and consistency

Provides and creates short-term and long-term vision for the business unit

Works directly with the Client to develop long-term security strategies, policies, procedures, Scope of Work, and SLA

Coordination with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies

Coordination with site, regional and corporate Managers, facilities, etc

Performs additional functions, duties and specific tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as necessary in order to achieve assigned business objectives

Ability to travel up to 30% or as necessary


Bachelor's degree (Business / Management) and / or seven years of experience in a management role, preferably in corporate security. The successful candidate will also have seven years of well documented managerial experience leading a unit of 125 employees in one or more of the following areas: security operations, security design, service planning, service development or related operational field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company, or any combination of above. Educational exceptions may be considered based on professional experience. Professional certifications highly preferred (CPP, PSP, etc.)

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY:Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of experience in a field related to the security industry and/or business management, and substantial, progressively responsible experience in the security industry, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation desirable. Additional relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education.
