JOB SUMMARY:\u00a0 Builds, establishes and oversees national sales training strategy, curriculum, and processes that drive revenue/volume growth and cultural change in the Sales Organization. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Build and drive Sales Training strategic direction in alignment with the goals Quest Diagnostics and of the Sales and Marketing organization.\u00a0 2. Direct the design, development and delivery of Sales Training curriculum, Marketing and Company initiatives that support cultural change and the strategic direction of the Sales Organization.\u00a0 3. Create and deliver an exciting and dynamic communication process that ensures the education opportunities are known and available to all in the Sales Organization. 4. Develop, manage, and implement sales training organizational design that maximizes the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization. 5. Work collaboratively with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Operations and Medical to ensure that national sales training delivers against the needs of the sales organization. 6. Conduct regular assessments of sales force needs supporting continuous improvement of all sales products, services and processes. Regularly benchmark best practices in related industries as well as the laboratory industry. 7. Oversee the development and implementation a field sales training and related processes that drive effectiveness, efficiency, and coordination of sales activities throughout the Sales Organization. 8. Supervise and develop professional staff. 9. Lead and direct consulting relationships effectively managing these resources and maximizing their use. JOB REQUIREMENTS:- Education BS degree in Business or related field - MS a plus- Comprehensive knowledge of Laboratory industry and healthcare trends - Minimum 8 years experience in Sales Training / Marketing Minimum 5 years experience in Sales positions\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 - Minimum 5 years experience managing professional staff Other Strategic and systemic thinking\u00a0 - Team orientation - Outstanding interpersonal communication Project management and superior organization skills - Excellent Formal/Informal presentation/facilitation skills - Exceptional ability to lead and influence others in a matrix organization - Ability to interact with and influence Senior Leadership Highly developed leadership skills and ethical standards - 30% Travel

At least 3 years of training and curriculum writing experience. Trained in adult learning principles.\u00a0 Documented experience in writing training plans and working with marketing, franchises and sales teams.
