We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, productive and highly motivated Sales Engineering Director for iBwave.Working in conjunction with sales and management, you will oversee and execute the strategic and tactical sales engineering plans for the Americas: North America (US, Canada, Mexico), Central and Latin America. Reporting to the Senior VP of Engineering you will:

Lead all pre-sales and post-sales activities in the Americas region

Lead and mentor engineers, and meet with the team members on a regular basis, and provide quality feedback

Support the delivery of the iBwave Certification Program plan

Build and sustain a culture that promotes team work, and helping each other succeed

Support the recruitment process to grow the team with talented individuals

Participate in different events such as seminars, user groups and conferences

Scope out and deliver services as per customer requirements

Implement and deliver a solution selling approach


Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering (MBA would be an asset)

Minimum of 15 years of telecommunications industry experience and 5 years in wireless in-building networks. Experience in FTTx is an asset.

Fluent in English & Spanish

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with culturally diverse groups of people

Proven ability to communicate effectively with C-Level management

Excellent conflict resolution and team building skills

Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and presentation skills

Proven experience in managing and coaching employees

Excellent knowledge of the Americas telecom market and culture

Experience in planning, designing, deploying and optimizing wireless in-building networks

Experience in planning, designing, deploying and optimizing FTTx networks an asset

Advanced knowledge of technologies such as LTE, Wi-Fi, HSPA, CDMA, GSM, Analog system

Advanced knowledge of wireless network communications (propagation, model tuning, capacity planning, MIMO)

Advanced knowledge of network elements of passive, active and hybrid DAS

Industry knowledge of OEM products hardware that goes into wireless in-building networks

Experience in project management (would be an asset)

Advanced knowledge of iBwave products and iBwave Certification would be considered assets

Availability to travel in the region and globally on a regular basis (up to 50% of the time)
