Position Overview:

Responsible for training, directing, staffing and planning the customer service and pricing activities of the company.  Detail the operational requirements and develop the staff to support the provision of required services

Responsibilities Include:

Customer Service and Management Oversee departments consisting of Customer Service Agents and Managers and Returns Administration.

Responsible for staffing, training, and evaluating candidates for these departments to ensure the appropriate skills and competenceis are sustained to maintain service levels.

Ensure customer requirements are being met and customer satisfaction levels are maintained.

Monitor inbound activity into Customer Service.

Oversight of RMA’s based on order values in accordance to the Signatory Authority Matrix.

Oversight and review of customer satisfaction survey.

Provide feedback to department data entry teams in India.

Review specific customer service metrics (ie. order entry dashboard, contact center activity).

Continued review of internal processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiences.

Oversees the functional workflow of Onbase, document orderflow management system.

Pricing Management Oversees department consisting of Pricing Coordinators, Pricing Analyst, Rebate Claims Adjustors, and Pricing Manager.

Responsible for staffing, training, and evaluating candidates for this department to ensure the appropriate skills and competenceis are sustained to maintain service levels.

Ensure customer requirements are being addresssed.

Provide feedback to department team in India.

Oversee shipping debit process for rebate claims.

Monthly review of quotations and quotation lines by analyst and vertical market to ensure consistent productivity.

Responsible for general oversight of quotes in accordance with signatory matrix.

Continued review of internal processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiences.

Other Management Duties:

Confers with Leadership to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions. Develops, plans, and executes to meet the decided upon actions while delivering flawless execution and maintaining budgetary guidelines.

Develops succession planning strategies in coordination with human resources to insure continuation of leadership and individual contributor roles going forward.

Serves as the business unit representative, as needed, in Hubbell corporate initiatives.

Qualifications Include:

Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university and 7 years of related experience and/or training.

Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Must have strong Microsoft Office, e-mail and other PC application skills.

Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.

Project Management: Develops project plans; Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget; Manages project team activities.
