The Challenge Ahead:

EA’s Digital Platform (EADP) organization is responsible for driving critical technology decisions and investments for EA on a global basis, across all divisions and studio teams. Technology and engineering leadership at EA is critical to making the industry’s best games and services and the EADP team is leading the way to providing cross-platform infrastructure that will keep our consumers connected with our games anytime, anywhere with anyone.

About the Role:

Director of Business Operations manages a team responsible for global Fraud Management and Payment Operations on the platform. Being an integral part of the platform you will help drive our digital services for millions of gamers worldwide.

Responsibilities:

+ Develop and deploy counter-fraud strategies to address monetary risk in alignment with business and corporate strategies and business models.

+ Champion these strategies and manage the delivery of fraud programs building and developing relationships across EA.

+ Develop and maintain a culture of Fraud Awareness across the wider organization.

+ Partner with key stakeholders on the launch of new payment options, games or game storefronts, business models and operating processes.

+ Work with external partners and vendors, payment gateways and acquirers on payment operations.

+ Contribute requirements, analysis and insight to create world class products and processes; to effectively operate a global online commerce platform.

+ Present analysis and reporting recommendations to Senior Management on a variety of KPI and business impact metrics.

+ Manage a global team of fraud and payment professionals.

+ Develop and facilitate a challenging environment for team members to achieve consistent levels of high performance.

+ Manage team resources and recruitment of new staff.

+ Participate in global industry forums such as Merchant Risk Council and Gamer Safety Alliance.

Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).

+ 8+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital or business operations, product or program management.

+ Strong experience in the maintenance of large scale Fraud Prevention Programs.

+ Ability to prioritize, plan, and lead teams to achieve business objectives.

+ Have excellent, interpersonal, and communication skills.

+ Proven experience in games, e-commerce or technology industries.

+ Understand the fraud risks associated with digital goods and the experience to build effective strategies to mitigate those risks.

+ The ability to extrapolate key insights from data to drive team and business strategy.

+ Exposure to payment processing in card-not-present environment, working with global and local payment processing.

+ Must have a sound understanding of Data Protection, PCI DSS, and credit card industry regulations.

+ Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a strong ability to multi-task.
