Director, Marketing (Mobile Apps)Match.com, L.L.C. - Dallas, TX
We're looking for a Director of Marketing to help launch new dating app brands being incubated within Match Group’s innovation team, 1 Labs. You'll join a lean and nimble team responsible for concepting, building and launching new app concepts.
This is a fast-paced, high impact role that will oversee all aspects of Marketing for emerging dating apps, from creative and brand strategy development to execution of marketing and communications programs, both online and offline.
In this role, you will:
Develop effective consumer value propositions, brand strategy and identity, and go to market plans for newly created dating apps
Lead and coordinate with internal teams (Online advertising, PR, Product Marketing), agency teams, and external marketing partners to ensure efficient execution of marketing plans
Strategize and implement innovative proactive PR story creation for new apps
Supervise and support the creative and social asset and content development process. From conceptualization and creation to distribution and strategic implementation, in order to drive engagement across all PR platforms, including all social channels and 3
Develop and test new marketing tactics to drive word of mouth of new dating apps
What experience is 1 Labs looking for?
~7 years marketing experience required, preferably for consumer mobile apps
Social Media and influencer management a must
Experience concepting and developing a new brand from scratch
Grassroots marketing experience a plus (e.g., brand ambassador programs, event marketing)
Online marketing and/or subscription-based business experience a plus
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
Strong project management skills
Thrive in a ‘roll-up your sleeves, hands-on’ environment
Work effectively in a team environment
Scrappy, resourceful, tenacious work ethic
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
Online dating knowledge or experience a plus
BA/BS or equivalent degree required
