The Director, Financial Planning and Analysis manages overall seasonal financial planning and monthly forecasting processes, ongoing and ad hoc financial analysis and corporate financial reporting for the digital team. This includes managing the seasonal financial planning process from start to finish, including target setting and coordinating with key partners on expectations around sales penetration by channel. Monthly forecasting of sales and expense is also included, with a focus on understanding the underlying metrics and how that drives expense. The Director, Financial Planning and Analysis will also perform other duties as assigned. This role requires expense management for all digital expenses excluding Technology, and analysis to support business priorities. Additionally, this role requires a strong relationship building and collaboration with our business partners. This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Finance.

Essential Functions: *

Develop and manage annual and seasonal expense budgets for the digital business.

Manage the monthly forecast and close process.

Manage long range business planning process.

Identify and utilize key metrics as drivers of improved financial performance.

Identify and forecast trends, including short-term and long-term financial impact.

Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal digital executives, as well as Logistics, Customer Service, and Corporate Teams.

Provide regular updates to senior executives on financial status.

Provide viable options and recommendations to improve profit.

Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications: *

Education/Experience *

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.

Advanced Excel skills with experience in business modeling, management reporting, and operational metrics.

8-10 years’ experience in Financial Management, preferably with an ecommerce and/or multi channel retailer.

Communication Skills

Outstanding communication skills.

Effective leader with very strong interpersonal, leadership and management skills with a strong team orientation.

Possess retail business fluency and business presence - ability to engage with the business with credibility and positive relationship management outcomes.

Ability to manage senior business partner relationships, build trust and credibility.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to grow and adapt as the business changes.

Well developed analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Other Skills

Must be flexible and deadline-oriented.

Strong attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

Ability to work well independently with various parts of the organization, and have a sense of urgency to react to business needs.
