Join a growing, global company genuinely committed to making a difference for our customers and communities.As part of Cardinal Health’s Digital Marketing Center of Excellence (COE) team, the Director, Digital Marketing & Ecommerce will serve as a leader in advancing the digital capabilities and approach to digital for the Enterprise with a focus on our Pharmaceutical Segment, Enterprise Thought Leadership and email marketing programs.AccountabilitiesPartners with other functions (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Communications) within the Pharmaceutical Distribution, Nuclear Pharmacy and Enterprise Marketing teams to create compelling marketing programs to drive revenue and sales in support of the businesses objectivesCollaborates with key stakeholders to develop digital strategies and partners with the marketing and Enterprise Digital teams to execute across web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and digital display advertisingIdentifies trends and insights, and optimizes spend and performance based on the insightsUtilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch pointsEvaluates emerging technologies and provides thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriateCollaborates with internal stakeholders as well as external agency partners to leverage enterprise campaign tools and capabilities at scale in planning and execution of media plans and digital campaignsPartners with sales leads / GMs to develop lead routing strategy and measurement criteria to ensure alignment between marketing and salesLeads the email marketing / marketing automation team and provides best practices for marketing automation to the digital marketing team and the broader enterpriseWhat is expected of you and others at this levelProvides leadership to managers and experienced professional staff; may also manage front line supervisorsManages an organizational budgetDevelops and implements policies and procedures to achieve organizational goalsAssists in the development of functional strategyDecisions have an extended impact on work processes, outcomes, and customersInteracts with internal and/or external leaders, including senior managementPersuades others into agreement in sensitive situations while maintaining positive relationshipsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology or CommunicationsMBA preferred8-10 years experience in Digital MarketingExperience in B2B Digital Marketing preferredExperience working in an agency environment strongly desiredIn-depth experience across multiple digital touch-points with a track-record of financial business performanceDemonstrated organizational intelligence in identifying decision makers/influencers; builds strong relationships with leadership across organizational and geographical boundariesStrong negotiation skills needed internally with regional digital teams and externally with our agency partners to achieve alignment to global best practice and strategic prioritiesAbility to create an environment where all are encouraged to constructively challenge ideas/decisionsPosted YesterdayFull time20024604
