Position is responsible for 24/7 safe, reliable operation of

the natural gas distribution and transmission assets including 24/7 emergency

responsibilities.  This position oversees

designated natural gas utility operations, including defining and leading

strategic initiatives of commercial/residential pipeline development and

profitable operations as well as providing safe and reliable services to

customers throughout the Company’s operating territory (Note: the geographical

size and customer base vary by function and/or region). Directs and ensures

departmental compliance with all governmental regulations and corporate

programs such as, but not limited to safety, environmental, and DOT compliance;

responsible for departmental financial performance, including setting and

meeting budgets. 

This position also serves as the Company’s leadership

representative for all key activities and strategic issues that emerge and

provides a focal point for leadership and oversight for all employees in areas

of safety, reliability, customer service, financial performance and employee

engagement.

Responsibilities:

Develop and lead a high performance team to ensure safety,

system reliability, financial, and program/project goals are achievedManage overall performance and accountability for the Field

Operations and Distribution Construction organizations in the areas of safety,

reliability, customer satisfaction, financial targets and employee

engagement.  This entails helping to set

direction, monitoring progress, overseeing corrective action and achieving

targets.Maintain effective and on-going communication and dialogue

with employees regarding key issues such as Company strategy & direction;

goal setting, status & performance; compliance with regulatory and Company

requirements; employee engagement, leadership development, etc.Establish strategic direction for key matters and provide

leadership for employees that are consistent with Company values, policy and

direction.  Collaborate with other

functional organizations and other Business Units leadership to contribute to

the overall success of the Enterprise and its employees.Represent the Company with utility industry agencies and

regulatory bodies in areas of safety, gas compliance, and operational

performance.  Ensure that focus is

maintained in the areas of safety, reliability, compliance and customer

service.

','!*!Basic Qualifications:

·       

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college in

business, engineering, or other technical field with 9 years of management

& leadership experience in a related field and proven ability and experience

developing and implementing operational and financial plans.

·       

General understanding of construction and

maintenance practices.

·       

Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex

budgets.

·       

Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a

diverse team of management personnel.

·       

Demonstrates a strong orientation for safety,

sense of urgency, and customer service

·       

Demonstrated verbal and written communication

skills and ability to work with all levels of Company leadership.

·       

Proven leadership skills, including negotiation

and conflict management.

·       

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making

skills:

·       

Ability to understand what activities must be

undertaken within a major functional area in order to achieve the goals of the

organization.

Ability to define problems, collect data, deal

Desired Qualifications:

·       

Knowledge of the gas industry.

·       

Demonstrated working knowledge of natural gas

distribution and transmission systems, equipment and associated policies,

practices, and procedures.

·       

Demonstrated the ability to manage field

personnel.

·       

Experience with represented (collective

bargaining) employees and labor contracts.

·       

Educational Background - Master’s degree in

business or engineering.

·       

Demonstrates the ability to direct and manage
