Lead pre-sales technical teams in order to optimise sales and revenue volume. Collaborate with senior level sales management and SE teams to help define the sales strategy and ensure forecast objectives are met via diligent SE to sales cycle engagement.
Define best practices to Systems engineering management in the areas of product demonstrations, proof of concepts, RFPs, overcoming sales objections and technical sales presentations.
Perform key functions to recruit top-notch Systems engineers and SE management including interviewing, hiring, monitoring, employee feedback and documentation, counseling and coaching, and performance management / improvement when needed. Identify staffing needs. Work with senior management to set budgets and implement plan. Participate in interview panels.
Develop strategies to motivate Systems engineering team and management and build sense of team engagement thru incentive, reward, and recognition programs that connect individuals’ and teams’ contributions to the organization's objectives. Implement quarterly team-building events and/or communication.
Assess skill sets and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members and managers in order to meet objectives, reinforce sales methodology and provide guidance on career path direction. Implement personal development plans for systems engineering teams.
Understand intricacies across multiple territories and coach SE management team how to leverage the channel and drive revenue by determining strategies for maximize account development and growth and increase market share.
