Summary

In collaboration with the department VP and Marketing and Communications Manager, the Digital Marketing Lead develops and implements online marketing strategies that maximize referral development and build brand awareness for Rogers Behavioral Health. This role provides counsel and support to department and system leadership and staff in online brand and reputation management. She/He collaborates in development of the department’s strategic marketing plans and facilitates digital marketing team efforts including measurement of ROI. She/He assists with periodic surveying of key constituents to understand and learn from their perceptions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing Lead provides leadership and project coordination, applying a working knowledge of department roles to manage marketing plans and campaigns, to provide guidance and direction to the team, and to partner with the VP and other department leaders in ensuring quality services and outcomes that help achieve organizational goals. The role provides professional counsel, leadership, coordination and implementation in these areas:

Brand management: Monitors and guides Rogers’ online presence.

Oversees the execution of system identity and logo in all electronic venues.

In conjunction with the VP and Manager, supports crisis communication needs in online platforms, monitoring social media, websites, and blogs and responds to positive and critical comments on Rogers or specific sites or programs.

Ensures positive news coverage is leveraged on website and in social media posts.

Marketing planning and execution: Develops strategic and tactical digital marketing plans supporting service lines and organizational priorities. Partners with outreach service line leads/team to define target markets, assess customer needs and service quality characteristics and then formulates plans to meet those needs.

Marketing communications production, execution and evaluation of effectiveness: Contributes to, facilitates and ensures the design, writing, editing, and posting/launching of website and social media content and online advertising and paid search. Evaluates effectiveness through identified metrics.

Digital Advertising production, execution and placement: Partners with contracted agencies and other external support for online campaigns. Coordinates/participates in selecting best digital opportunities and placements.

Analysis of ROI: Uses an analytical approach to evaluation of campaign and strategy effectiveness with internal/external clients/audiences.

Website management: Manages and monitors website content and development. Ensures compelling content to increase engagement. Coordinates team and collaborates with external partner to develop and update website. Conducts annual quality checks and improvement opportunities for each service line treatment team.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Leads Search engine optimization work and monitors SEO effectiveness.

Social media engagement: Works collaboratively with Marketing and Communications Specialist to ensure strategic creation and distribution of engaging social media content. Participates in creating content along with other team members. Annually assess social media plan to increase engagement among referents, potential and former patients, families, consumers, and employees. Monitors comments and other engagement and responds in a timely manner.

Writing/editing: Contributes to writing of online content and advertising, social media posts, online publications, and video scripting. Coordinates work with other team members and serves as editor for others’ work.

Special events and conference support: Partners with Events and Education Lead and Outreach team to support online strategies for maximizing conference sponsorship and participation and other seminars Rogers offers or participates in.

Other: Manages special projects such as video production and coordination in conjunction with VP and Marketing and Communications Manager.

Assists in the day-to-day decision-making related to digital marketing (i.e. adjustment in projects, assignments, deadlines based on changing priorities, assist staff with projects, assist in facilitating project timelineand financial decisions, review project timelines and solve day-to-day issues).

Partners with outreach team for solutions-based outcomes.

Provides timely feedback to staff regarding service delivery and best practices.

Collaborates with the VP on managerial decisions and offers performance feedback on team members.

Keeps VP, team members, and internal clients apprised of project progress and any delays.

Assists in providing orientation, training and education to new and existing Marketing department staff.

Educates new staff regarding regulations or requirements of those functions that relate to their areas or departments, as directed.

Trains and helps to oversee student interns for digital marketing work as directed.

Promotes department digital marketing goals and system mission.

Communicates digital marketing goals to staff members and demonstrates measurable goal achievement. Ensures organizational policies and regulatory requirements are followed.

Maintains department policies and procedures.

Follows requirements and guidelines from external agencies (i.e., Joint Commission, WHA, WHPRMS).

Demonstrates understanding of

Joint Commission

and other regulatory agency compliance regulations and ensures team members are compliant.

Participates in Rogers Improvement System (RIS) process improvement events and projects and other system committees as requested.
