About the Position

The Digital Analytics Lead will be responsible for building out Goodyear's digital analytics capabilities related to ecommerce (~~~) and company owned retail business (~~~). This new role will develop measurement objectives to support business goals, ROI and performance for marketing activities including search engines, email, media and affiliate programs. The Digital Analytics Lead will be responsible for evaluating current tools/technologies, as well as identifying / acquiring new tools, technologies and reporting platforms if needed. This role will also audit and provide recommendations, roadmap and ongoing cadence for leveraging marketing attribution tehcnology on both retail and commerce websites.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop and manage standardized digital measurement and reporting strategy to deliver dashboards that can be interpreted by all levels, indicating effectiveness and optimization opportunities of digital efforts (search, display, email, partner programs, etc.) Audit technology for optimal implementations and use cases for each report.

Drive evaluation, onboarding, integration and ongoing optimization of digital attribution software. Identify cadence for leveraging data, determine optimal model, and quantify cross-site impact of digital activities on ~~~ and ~~~

Stay abreast of industry and paid media trends by conducting research, engaging in training and attending industry events

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Brand, Retail, Interactive, Commerce, Shopper and Product Marketing

Provide guidance and direction to cross-functional analysts for support with reporting and analysis.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Marketing or Computer Science

7 Years of Experience in digital marketing / commerce / web analytics

Experience managing a team or resource(s) for report generation, analysis and optimization

Skills and Abilities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including mastery of Excel

Experience with web analytics platforms, such as Adobe or Google Analytics

Experience with marketing attribution methodology and/or technology a plus

Expereince with data visualization and/or reporting tools a plus (e.g. Tableau)

Looking back, the founding of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in 1898 seems especially remarkable, for the beginning was anything but auspicious. The 38-year-old founder, Frank A. Seiberling, purchased the company’s first plant with a $3,500 down payment -- using money he borrowed from a brother-in-law Lucius C. Miles. The rubber and cotton that were the lifeblood of the industry had to be transported from halfway around the world, to a landlocked town that had only limited rail transportation. Even the man the company’s name memorialized, Charles Goodyear, had died penniless 30 years earlier despite his discovery of vulcanization after a long and courageous search.
