This position is located in our Dallas showroom.

Position Description:

We’re looking for a Sales Support Specialist that has strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers and employees. Qualified candidates should be professional, have strong written and verbal communication, be able to handle multiple things at once, and be a self-starter. Daily activities will include answering phone calls and e-mails from both internal and external employees and customers, analyzing and interpreting order requests to ensure accuracy of order entry, and other various tasks. Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and adaptability are a must.

Required Skills

Win and Manage the Business

Process all requests the same day (including all orders received before 4pm EST).

Drive sales growth via project management and build/ maintain strong customer relationships.

Inside Selling – Proactively suggest alternates

Utilize and manage pre-orders, reserves, blanket orders and Bill and Holds.

Expedite samples, follow-up with clients, and work with PFS to expedite yardage as needed. Lead in Customer Experience

Provide a better experience to customers and Sales Representatives – will be validated based on input from your peers, reps, and customers.

Assist co-workers as needed and be a team-player.

Turn in Open Order Report for each assigned Sales Representative on a weekly basis, at least 95% of the time

Communicate with Sales Representative on a daily/weekly basis for clarification, pricing confirmation etc.

Forming and maintaining a strong partnership with all assigned Sales Representatives.

Uphold the Code of Conduct, Support Expectations, and Core Values.

Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business or communications, or equivalent experience

Minimum of two (2) years of inside sales or customer service experience.

Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner with internal and external customers.

Ability to develop and recommend new and/or modified operating policies that enhance the customer experience.

Ability to effectively analyze and interpret order requests to ensure accuracy of order entry.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle multi-problem situations within a limited timeframe.

Ability to make decisions quickly and accurately with no direct supervision.

Ability to effectively organize workload to accomplish assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner.

Ability to recognize problems and act on them.

Ability to effectively juggle multiple priorities and strong follow-up skills.

Ability to work with and understand multiple computer systems and support systems.

Proficient in the use of basic technology programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook.

Strong organizational skills with high level of attention to detail.
