SUMMARY

The Deputy Director of Logistics will be the single-point of

accountability to the Director of Logistics, for business and support

operations for strategic planning, coordination, integration, and management

oversight of contract logistics, business functions, IT, QC, security,

compliance, and contingency task order response. The Deputy Director of

Logistics will have full authority to manage and integrate the efforts of the

managers of these functional areas to ensure quality, timeliness of performance,

priority setting, effective business relations, and customer satisfaction. The

Deputy Director of Logistics will work with customer management,

subcontractors, and key personnel in implementing a collaborative, integrated

approach to flight operations support functions. Accountable for compliance

with all applicable U.S. laws and regulations, risk mitigation, and interfaces

with the Customer or other supporting agencies to resolve issues that may

arise. The Deputy Director of Logistics assumes the responsibilities of the

Director of Logistics in his absence.

ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage cost,schedule and performance parameters pertinent to the program and ensure allcontractual requirements are met.

Report programinformation to the Program Manager, and all relevant levels of the Group staff,through daily coordination and periodically during formal - In Progress Reviews(IPR).

Supervise andcoordinate with the program team (matrix staff, analysts/planners, etc.)ensuring that all facets of program management are applied to developing andongoing efforts and are in compliance with all contractual requirements.

Work as part ofan Integrated Process Team (IPT) with AAR matrix staff members who provideproper finance, contracting, human resourcing, compliance, and legal review onemerging and ongoing programs.

Participate inthe development of new business and capture support.

Ensure programteam is efficient and effective in all aspects of program development andexecution.

Properly managedirect charge customer requirements with appropriate manpower and resources.

Performfinancial analysis, prepare specialized program and project budgets to includestaffing and operational needs.

Develop anIntegrated Master Schedule (IMS) outlining critical schedule requirementspertaining to program.

Monitor programbudget; oversee financial well-being of the program by exercising costcontrols.

Implementimprovements to the program to meet changing mission parameters andrequirements.

Provide theProgram Manager with direct, complete and effective recommendations to ongoingchallenges.

Provideleadership and supervision to on-site staff; prioritize workloads, delegatetasks andresponsibilities.

Develop ongoingoperating procedures between customer and AAR.

Review variouscustomer inquiries and provide responses within a timely fashion.

Become familiarwith all customers special and technical requirements.

Communicatedirectly with representatives from all AAR divisions regarding additionalopportunities between customer and AAR.

Ensure overallcustomer satisfaction.

Oversee thedesign and update of the contract in collaboration with the sub-contractsmanagement staff of the client.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATIONand/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree

(B.S.) from four-year College or University; or eight years related experience

and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PMP Desireable

Minimum of fifteen (15) years logistics experience, of which

five (5) were in a direct supervisory role.

Effective communication skills in English

Experience in the aerospace/aviation industry is desired.
