Participates in the development, validation and delivery of analyses, presentations, algorithms, statistical models and reporting tools. Solves moderately complex analytical problems.
Analyzes the various aspects related to customer experience and produces insights and recommendations for improvement based on findings
Compiles, interprets and validates complex data sets as part of large analytical/modeling projects or to measure initiatives or campaigns
Produces accurate, insightful analyses in line with the business questions and recommends additional analyses
Analyzes the customer journey, including all touchpoints and interactions, and understands the bigger picture the data is telling
Works with business partners and other data scientists to interpret existing data sources and gain an understanding of their upstream business processes or customer impacts
Pulls raw data from disparate sources and responds quickly to ad hoc requests
Develops, validates and executes algorithms and predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns and recommend solutions
Uses data visualization techniques to effectively communicate analytical results and support business decisions
Creates and evaluates the data needs of assigned projects and assures the integrity of the data
Explores existing data and recommends additional sources of data for improvements
Documents projects including business objectives, data gathering and processing, detailed set of results and analytical metrics.
3 years of relevant analytical experience with a solid foundation in using a technical approach to solving business problems
Experience in customer experience, market research, marketing analytics, or health insurance required
Demonstrated ability to work with very large data sets from multiple data sources
Solid technical skills (R, Python, Hive) and strong Excel skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to contribute ideas and recommendations
Strong ability to understand the business context and work quickly in a face-paced environment
Proficiency in several areas of data modeling, machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, data engineering and data visualization
Excellent PPT skills and ability to present information to various audiences and deliver accurate, high quality results on time
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
