Data Governance Analyst (Workforce Analytics)C. H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc. - Eden Prairie, MN
The Data Governance Analyst will partner with our workforce data analysts and with other Human Resource Centers of Excellence to help manage their initiatives through data-driven decision ********* this role, you will improve processes, organize data, build relationships, influence and consult and enhance talent strategies.You will gain exposure to a wide variety of business areas where you will serve as a subject matter expert in driving data integrity and quality workforce analytics to achieve business impact.
Collaborate with Human Resources and other departments to design, build, and automate key HR related metrics which align to stakeholders strategic objectives.
Ensure and improve HR organizational data governance by performing validation testing, documenting and determining acceptability/impact of deviations and notifying appropriate audiences.
Consult and influence key initiatives related to talent management, learning development, organization effectiveness, talent acquisition, diversity & inclusion, which make a significant impact within the business.
Consult with HR users and leadership on data and analytics and its integration with other systems.
Maintain and enhance current products and processes including but not limited to, quarterly reporting, performance scorecards, weekly/monthly dashboards and workforce planning.
Consult with leadership, HR and other users in providing support on a variety of ad-hoc data requests (static reports, presentations, executive summaries and detailed research analyses).
Evaluate processes and procedures to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and make resulting recommendations to workforce analytics team, HR Centers of Excellence and HR leadership.
Serves as a valued and trusted partner to HR Centers of Excellence and business customers.
Improves key areas of Workforce Analytics service delivery model in regards to data governance and reporting, building tool kits for customer consumption and self-service.
Bachelors degree strongly preferred
Minimum of 1 year professional experience in a position involving data acumen, data blending, data governance, supporting various source systems and/or the ability to build reports to extract data
Advanced Excel skills required (vlookups, powerpivot, etc)
Experience with SQL, or aptitude with coding languages and using advanced statistical methods preferred
Experience with data visualization and data visualization tools (Power BI, tableau or qlikview) preferred
Experience with data architecture, building or maintaining a data warehouse(s) preferred
Excellent critical thinking skills coupled with creative problem solving skills
Displays curiosity and initiative to drive towards solutions
Ability to prioritize work and thrive in an autonomous results-driven environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Human Resource functions and familiarity with HR systems such as applicant tracking, learning and development, compensation management or talent management preferred
