Position Description

Job Summary and Scope:

All of PM I plus ability to manage, and own, multiple design projects concurrently. Generate and execute detailed project plans to track all project activity. Coordinate internal, and third party, resources for optimal execution of projects. Maintain a high level of organization and housekeeping. Insure all projects are delivered to planned completion dates. Report and escalate issues/concern to key stakeholders. Maintain professional appearance per corporate guidelines. Schedule resource allocation and leveling. Provide updates to all stakeholders associated to the project status, changes or schedule changes. Independently manage project workflow, information and documentation. Keeps projects organized and accurate. Executes up-front information gathering and back-end communication/distribution.

Job Responsibilities

Interface at an intermediate level with SM's, GM's, RSM's and senior management.

Interaction to extend into international design and vendor design contacts.

Intermediate participation level with local, regional and national design teams (presentations, training, group presentations, etc.)

Ensures all documents, presentations, specifications, drawings, test reports and work plans are uniform to process requirements.

The ability to handle difficult conversations and differentiate need for management participation. Increased level of ownership on conflict resolution.

Consistently leverages resource utilization and skill set. Concurrently manages multiple complex projects. Demonstrates utilization of all internal & external resources to achieve project success.

Ability to ask the right questions to gain pertinent information. Gathers data in efficient manner. Understands the risk/reward model for decisions at this position level.

Ensures all documents, presentations, specifications, drawings, test reports and work plans are uniform to process requirements.

Ability to deploy cross functional support services with ease. Clear understanding of all internal resources (skills and contacts)

Ability to recognize and pull in non-design resources as required.

Strong relationships build on trust, creditability and success.

Skilled in independently handling multiple complex design projects concurrently.

Qualifications / Knowledge & Experience:

Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.

Duration in prior role: 3-5 years

Project management certification. Relevant industry training. Advanced industry knowledge with demonstrated leadership experiences.

Advanced team leadership skill set.

Advanced users of M.S. Office suite.

Strong working knowledge of Workfront, Salesforce & Box software programs. Ability to generate custom reporting and identify/implement process improvements through advanced software applications.

Ability to facilitate complex customer programs to internal support teams.

Advanced understanding and application of project management software and file management software. Ability to own administrative rights to software programs, representing the best interests of the Design Network.

Ability to train and lead others in software operation and overall tool use. Desire to expand knowledge of associated fields (design, printing, testing, color, etc.)

Ability to effectively resolve complex problems, including corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. Strong negotiation skills.

Customer service, quality or production experience a benefit.

Experience in team environments.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirement

Ability to lift packages up to 35 lbs

Ability to work in office, warehouse, design and laboratory environment.

Attention to detail.
