Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop knowledge based of different systems with the Distribution Center.

Communicate effectively with other to minimize potential downtime of equipment.

Ensure safe work environment and maintain an organized work area.

Follow work orders in achieving productivity.

Make sure workmanship is of highest quality.

Ensure all material handling equipment batteries and properly maintained for efficient performance.

Complete the daily P.I.T. checklist to ensure equipment is working properly and report any defects to management to management and/or maintenance.

Operate P.I.T. equipment in a safe manner.

Must be able to supply own hand tools as indicated by hiring manager.

Other duties as assigned.

Shift hours, Benefits, and Compensation:

2nd Shift maintenance hours are Monday through Friday, 2pm to 10:30pm

3rd Shift Maintenance hours are Monday through Friday, 10pm to 6:30am

Shift hours are subject to change based on operational needs

Mandatory overtime may be required based on volume. Associates will perform shift work and must be willing to work overtime, weekends and/or holiday

We offer competitive hourly wages based on position and department','!*!Minimum Requirements:

Education:  High school diploma/GED preferred.

Experience:  One year certificate from college or technical school, three to six months related experience and/or training in a Retail Distribution combination of education and experience.  One to three years of industrial maintenance experience preferably in a Retail Distribution Center or Warehouse environment.   Maintenance Technician must possess three of the following seven categories: (1) Electronic/electrical, (2) Conveyor Equipment, (3) Facilities Maintenance, (4) Machining/Lathe/Mill, (5) Mechanical Systems, (6) Welding, and (7) Plumbing.

Equipment:  P.I.T., all Material Handling Equipment in the Distribution Center, assorted hand held and power tools, service terminal, multi-meter, torch, welder, impact tools, hydraulic hose press, lawn mowers, weed-eaters, variety of electrical testing equipment, pens, pencils, stapler, copier, telephone, computer and MP2 (Maintenance Management System). Required to use PPE per center requirements.

Communication:  Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers and management team.

Working Conditions:
